In reading this play the reader can almost guess who wasgoing to die. The King, Hamlets father, was found dead inan orchard where he fagged much of his time. All of the Kings subjects,including Hamlet, thought his majesty died because of a snake bite. Hamlet wasdevastated when he learned of his fathers death, but what made him more uneasywas the accompaniment that Gertrude, Hamlets overprotect, remarried so quickly to the brotherof the dead King. The brother would be the one who would betray Hamlet. Horatio, a loyal friend to Hamlet, was on night retard outside the castle,he told the prince of an i ncident when they saw an apparition who resembledKing Hamlet. Hamlet came out the next night hoping to see the ghost. Sureenough, the ghost appeared and called to Hamlet, missing to speak with him. While Hamlet was away, Ophelia, Hamlets girlfr iend, wasacting strangely. Although it was never admitted, Ophelia had become insane. It was herinsanity that. As Hamlet was hiding in the graveyard, a funeral procession approachedhim, but he did not know whose funeral it was. Hamlet finally found that it wasOphelia who had died. Even though Hamlet was damage emotionally, Laertes was theone who was hurt the worst. Laertes had these worlds to say, O forked woe/Fall ten times treble on that cursed head/ Whose wicked deed thy most able
